Rules

Play fair.

Day 1 is the group stage: 10 groups of 3, and every team plays the other two in its group. The 10 group winners and the 6 best runners-up go through to the round of 16 on Day 2, then it's knockout all the way to the final.

  • Group stage: 1 short set to 4 games, tie-break at 4–4.
  • Round of 16: 1 set to 6 games, tie-break at 6–6.
  • Quarter-finals and semi-finals: best of 3 short sets to 4 games, with a super tie-break (first to 10, by 2) instead of a third set.
  • Final and 3rd-place match: best of 3 sets to 6 games, with a super tie-break instead of a third set.

Every match uses golden point: at deuce, the next point wins the game.

Report to the desk 15 minutes before your match. A team more than 5 minutes late for its match loses by walkover.

No partner changes once the tournament starts. Your pair stays the same from the first group match to the final.

If teams finish level on wins, the order is decided by head-to-head result, then game difference, then games won, and finally a coin toss.

The 10 group winners are seeds 1–10 and the six best runners-up are seeds 11–16, each ranked by wins, then game difference, then games won. Seed 1 plays seed 16, 2 plays 15, and so on. If that would put two teams from the same group together, runners-up swap places so that teams from the same group can't meet in the round of 16.

The referee's decision is final.
